Ueno Park 

Ueno Park is large public park with many attractions. It can be called as "the museum complex" instead of park. Various events are held throughout the year to delight all local and foreign visitors of all ages. In addition, the park is well known for "HANAMI" spot, a cherry blossom viewing place in spring.

Ueno Zoological Gardens

Caution : Steep Slopes within the Zoo

Most of the areas within the zoo can be accessed by wheelchair, however, some of the paths involve steep slopes. We would advise for manual wheelchair users to visit with strong companions.

The National Museum of Western Art

The National Museum of Western Art

Established in 1959, the main building was designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The museum was based on the Matsukata Collection focusing on the Impressionist paintings and Auguste Rodin's sculptures previously stored by the French government.
